nice and family oriented, not rowdy, tucked away from the street in Kennebunk, wish I had taken advantage of the free beach pass during my stay
in the directions got lost as York Street IS part of Route 1

The economy cottage was charming and cozy, ideal for our stay. The dog-friendly policy was a major plus, great to enjoy our trip without leaving our pet behind. The layout was a bit tight, as it only offered a double bed and a small loveseat, limiting comfort for three guests. The showerhead definitely needs an upgrade, and the wifi connection was unreliable, causing some inconvenience .

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean. The A/C worked. It was cute.
It was a little shabby. Although clean, the bathroom was very small, and could have used some updating. The cottage was very hot when we arrived. It did cool down with the A/C, but was uncomfortable when we got there.

Rooms are dated and old, stunk of mildew, damp and musky

In my wife's opinion, a microwave in the room would have been nice for quick snacks or hot drinks.

This was a charming cottage, complete with a full kitchen, one bath in a rustic setting. The area was convienent to my destination and easy to find. I found it to be a friendly, family run business. I would not hesitate to return when I am in the area again.

I loved the privacy of the cottage. The staff was super friendly.
The bathroom set up was a bit awkward. The sink was in the bedroom, the toilet was a separate stall and the shower was teeny and opened to the hallway. It was fine with my partner, but didn't allow a lot of privacy if you were traveling with someone you weren't quite as keen to see you naked! Lol.
